Best performed former Univ.of Tennessee - Chattanooga players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Mocs alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Chris Early (6'7''-F-88, graduated '13, plays pro in New Zealand) could not help the league outsider Taranaki Mountainairs (0-6) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Taranaki Mountainairs lost 91-100 on the road to the higher-ranked (#7) Rangers. Early was the top scorer with 25 points. He also added 8 rebounds in 34 minutes. So far Taranaki Mountainairs lost all six games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Early has relatively good stats this year 14.7ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.5spg in six games he played so far.

   #2. Casey Jones (6'5''-G-93, graduated '17, plays in Spain) was not able to help Tormes (8-26) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Jones' very good performance the 12th-placed Tormes (8-26) was edged 81-80 at home by the higher-ranked Moron (#8) in the West group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 13 rebounds. The Regular Season already ended. Jones has relatively good stats this season 14.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg.

   #3. Experienced Keyron Sheard (6'2''-PG-86, graduated '09, currently in Argentina), who plays in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) was not able to secure a victory for Deportivo Viedma (15-11) in their last game. Despite Sheard's good performance the fourth-placed Deportivo Viedma (15-11) was edged 75-73 in Plottier by the second-ranked Centro Espanol in the South group. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Sheard also added 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 39 minutes. It's Sheard's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.9ppg, 2.2rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg in 29 games.
